Promotion Final Phase: we upgrade the promotion inside and outside of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. 500 posters was pasted all over around UTP, which were helped by all Convofair 09 committees. Plus, in order to promote Convofair 09 outside of UTP, we, Promotion and Publication Department make a field trip to cover up the promotions from Ipoh to Lumut. Thanks to HRM Department, PNP Department's burden was eased by gotting ten cars and five peoples each car as our manpower for the day.
Starting from 8:00 am till night, 1500 A3 poster and 1600 A4 flyers were finished, from UTP to Ipoh and Lumut. The work is really just for Convofair 09. Even some of the committees got fever after returning from the field trip. Anyway, we heard some unexpected thing happened, that some of us get chased out by mall security guards.
We would like to say thank you to all committees. Commitment to a vision.
This year’s Convofair is special to their committees. They themselves have become legends to organise this annual event, whether to successfully organise Convofair09 by saving it from H1N1 or make it the worst Convofair in the history.
As a precaution to avoid this fast-spreading influenza from infecting the others, unfortunately, many events had to be cancelled. Many of the committees work had being jeopardised leaving some scars in their hearts. The committees would like to apologise to all participants that would join those cancelled events which are Moment with Orphans, Treasure Hunt, and Bowling Tournament. Nevertheless, Convofair09’s committees had pledged “Commitment to a Vision” to make the event as meaningful as possible.
Trust to whom? Trust to ourselves! We can save it, we can make it happen, and this is the last battle.
